TIME-SERT offers significant benefits when repairing lambda sensor threads:
- Pressing in the Time-Sert bushings makes them absolutely media-tight.
- Using Time-Sert bushings eliminates the need to replace catalytic converters or exhaust manifolds.
- The Time-Sert bushing has a collar to ensure exact positioning, i.e. repaired threads are equivalent to the original condition.
- The shape of the incomplete thread turns makes Time-Sert bushings self-locking and guarantees they cannot be removed.
